Description

Access to Memory (AtoM) is a free and open-source, web-based application for standards-based archival description and access in a multilingual, multi-repository environment. AtoM is developed and maintained by Artefactual Systems and is in use at archives and cultural heritage institutions around the world.

The software supports the ICA archival standards (ISAD(G), ISAAR(CPF), ISDF, ISDIAH) as well as RAD, DACS, MODS, EAD, and more. Versions 2.6 through 2.10 are documented in the Releases section below, with each release introducing new functionality, accessibility improvements, and modernised infrastructure.
